Question Request: Painted T/A Bezel pics..

As the title states. I am thinking about just keeping my stock gauges and adding a t/a bezel. If I do this I might paint the bezel silver or gunmetal to match my wheels.

Does anyone have any pics of the bezel painted?

Its a big hassle to do. I tried and ended up messin one up trying to separate it cleanly. You might have better luck buying a stainless or aluminum firebird/transam bezel from the online auction site. I have one that I modified a bit that I think looks just as nice...

Not a LS1 T/A bezel, but here's a LT1 bezel I painted hammer tone silver. If you're looking for a LS1 T/A bezel, we have them in stock http://store.specializedstainless.co...ategory=Gauges

I've heard that you can fill the bottom of a big tray and slowly and slighty dip the bezel in to get it colored. Never tried it myself though.

That would be a good idea if you didn't end up with it on the supporting inside walls of the cluster...

I would think if it was taped up on the supporting side walls it would be a good idea.
