Default My want-to-do appearance mods

Hey guys, I'm having a lot of trouble deciding what I would like to do for the appearance of my car. I have a 2000 Bright Red V6 Camaro, and was thinking if I should spend all the money on an SS hood, or save a little, and just put an SS spoiler and RS bodykit on it.

What do you guys think?

I wouldnt do the rs body kit. I dont like ground effects on camaros. I do however like the ss hood and spoiler so that would be my pick

Ground Effect's look like ***. There's a few car's on here that can pull it off, but it takes real work.

SS Hood and spoiler, and a set of wheels should makes your car look a million times better, as it does to everyones.

I'm just really worried about spending all the money on a hood, if i'm only going to have the car for 2-3 more years

Well just remember, if you put an SS hood, spoiler, and some nice wheels, your still going to have a V6. I'm not hating on you, just get ready for people to start trying to race and asking you why it has a V6 and such. But if your gonna get a V8 soon, i'd save your money to hook that one up.

x4
but it is your car

I'll also say RS kit isn't a bad kit but it needs to be on a black car. Otherwise it sticks out too much. I used to not like them at all but my friend has a black 99z with the rs kit billet grill and black wheels and it looks mean.

SS spoiler and 10 spoke SS wheels if you are on a budget, both can be had for about $525 shipped (SS spoiler $225 shipped/painted from ebay and ~300 shipped for some used rims). It will make you feel like you have a new car.

If you are only going to have the car for 2-3 more years then it is not worth investing your money into, Just save up and get a V8

Man, it's your car do what you want and make it look how you want! I posted pics of my FRC's and all kinds of comments were posted. Make it your own and not what others want you to have I do agree with Ls1CamaroGuy87 also. You can buy a 98 or 99 Z28 at a reasonable price. Just make sure its not abused like many are.

wouldn't do the SS hood, goin to get expensive quick, and i sure as hell wouldn't spend the money u won't get back on a v6. and nooo to the rs bodykit. ive never liked it on camaros, makes the car look tall on the side.

a ss or ducktail spoiler and hockeystripes down the side is what i would do. should be able to keep it under 1k for all of it. then things like smoked corners and smoked halos if u want something more.

Yup, i'm not saying not to do ANYTHING, just don't go crazy on it. Trust me, I know how hard it is to not modify your car. But don't do the hood, that'd be too expensive. The only benefit of buying an SS hood would be if you bought a Z28 after and took the hood off of your RS before you sold it. But some wheels and a spoiler would make a nice difference, maybe some hockey stripes like suggested. Good luck!

if you do get the hood and spoiler just buy a red z28 when the time comes and switch them to it
