Default 4L60E out of a 90's model truck???=car?

Will a 4l60e from a pickup truck, 90's model, fit up to a 95 lt1 Camaro?
Found what i think is a great deal.
A guy wrecked his truck and says his transmission he has in it is a GM remanufactured 4L60E. He said he will sell the tranny for $300.!

I need some knowledge quick imma purchase it Saturday if u guys say it'll work.

it'll work as long as by 90's model truck you mean 1994 and up with a 4L60E.
You will need to change the tail housing, the truck has no TA mount.

thats what i was thinking. so the tail shaft will swap out? is the HP rating on them the same? what Im getting at is a 4l60e a 4l60e is a 4l60e?(tailshaft excluded)

ok i know its been forever but i was just updating my situation.

it fit nicely, i did have to change the tailshaft. I put the tranny in with a jack and another person.

its been about 3 months and now its got a slow shift from 1-2nd so im going to change the fluid (i should have done it when i got it) maybe it'll be okay afterwards

Bear in mind the truck trans have a smaller surface area servo in it and will not feel as crisp as the camaro trans , Swap the 1-2 servo from the camaro trans to the truck trans you will get a much firmer shift.
