Which 4L60e will work in my 98 Z28? Is the 4L60e in the 98-02 LS1 cars the only one that will swap into my 98 Z28? I don't want to make any modifications to the bellhousing, tailshaft, etc. I am wondering if there are any other cars or trucks that have the same tranny. I did a search but didn't find an answer. THANKS.

. unless ur gonna go 4 some big power get a 4l80 and i think it will go right in. not 100% sure though some one should correct me soon though. good luck with ur new tranny by the way bro.

The 98-2002 t/a and camaro trans is the only direct swap . However the lsx based truck 2wd 98-2006 and the 04-05-06 GTO trans can be used by simply swapping the tail housing (just some bolts an 2 minutes) and the linkage shaft(simple removal of pan a clip and a 15mm nut slide out slide in 10 minutes)
