What rebuild kit to buy???? Ive got a buddy thats pretty good with trannys so i think im gonna talk to him and see if he'll build me a good tranny if i supply all the parts. Now my main question is, whats the best rebuild kit to buy? everything i need to upgrade it? My car is just gonna be a bolt on car, nothing crazy, will take it to the track every now and then bt i just want a stout tranny that i dont have to worry about and need to know where to purchase the items. nay help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

I used to build transmissions on the side.
If your guy knows what he's doing he'll tell you what to buy.
I NEVER built a trans with someone elses parts. If their selection of parts fails I have to fix it for free, or I did something wrong.
Ask this guy what he recommends, if he doesn't have an answer move onto someone who does.
There is a big difference between a transmission builder, and a transmission assembler.
Almost sounds like you're dealing with an assembler by the way you put it.
