Default L O N G T A I L th400 going in the camaro

Hey guys, just wondering about the long tail th400 that came in older model caprices of the late 60's and early 70's. Does anyone make a crossmember for this transmission? The tranny has been rebuilt and was in a early model chevy drag/ show truck. My point is it is built, comes with a 3500 stall , and the guy who i selling it is a good friend of mine, and wsold it to me for 200 bucks. Please someone tell me that someone makes a crossmmber for this thing!! BTW this is going in a 93 z28 (sorry not an ls1). thnx for all the help(I hope)---- Billy

^ That sucks. I've always wondered about that. I almost bought a TH350 crossmember a while ago from a member until I ran the part number and noticed it was for a 98+.

For Yank... Are the crossmembers specific to the body? I'm looking to put a LS1 / TH200 in my 93 and I've been wondering this for a while.

Hey guys, the crossmember problem will be fixed thanx to Dave from YANK getting back with me so fast. My dumbass did not see where all of there crossmembers are for LS-1's. But when I do get an LS-1, I will get all parts possible from these guys. THNX Dave---Billy
