Tranny questions
Well it seems I got some issues that just came about on my tranny. It goes into 1st and 2nd gear just fine, then a little harder into 3rd and doesn't seem to hit 4th. I have a yank 3200 converter on a stock 4l60 tranny.
My car is a daily driver so I dont have the option to order and wait 6 weeks as much as I would love to go this route. I just took a walk into the local tranny shop and they told me for an exchange for a new 4l60 would be about $2200 not including labor and $520 to diagnose.
Im no pro with tranny's but would love some ideas on what the problem could be, this way I have some options to look at. I know the tc lockup solenoid or 3-4 solenoid could present some issue. Then again ive read on here about burnt clutches.
Thanks again.

I would scan for codes first ,
And you do not have to wait six weeks for a trans we can generally ship within days of the order and and have a well built trans as opposed to a stock rebuild with a warranty and likely installed for less than they are talking .
