what size cooler lines? -6 or -8? doesnt matter?

Default what size cooler lines? -6 or -8? doesnt matter?

title says it. about to do a cooler setup and was curious if id gain or lose anything by using -8 or -6 or if it really doesnt matter.

We use the -6 and it is about the same size as the factory 5/16 lines. The -8 will a bit larger but it might decrease the cooler pressure a bit however in theory should increase volume. I think the -8 is like a 3/8 line which was used in the B body and also in the C5 corvette. Either should be fine but I would use the -6. Vince
