Default Adjusting shift pressure with a switch?

I have a built 4l60e with a transgo shift kit, kevlar clutch packs, beefed up input sprag, etc etc. My 1-2 shift is very hard, which is cool when I want to burn some rubber but this car is my daily driver and im getting tired of it. My trans builder told me that there might be a way to wire up a switch to make the shifts much more firm, but I would have to shift the car manually. I like this idea, does anyone know if its possible?

Yea, it's a piece of **** B&M made to alter line pressure.

You need to get the spacer out of the 1-2 accumulator.

About manually shifting and running a wire? Sounds like maybe a manual valve body conversion with vacuum modulation, except it would be a hose not a wire.

I should have explained myself better. The car does have the Transgo HD-2 shift kit, carbon or koleen clutch packs, (not kevlar as I said) but a kevlar band and all that. I just brought the trans in because the A solenoid went out on me, and while he was in there i asked him to adjust the shift points and line pressure because it was just too much for a daily driven car. My question was: If I want that added pressure and an all around more aggressive shift, is there a way to rig up a switch to toggle it on the fly. Thank you.

This is one of the more popular things to do that with, even though it's not listed for anything past '98. http://www.jegs.com/p/B&M/748074/10002/-1
It's really not recommended to use a shift kit that raises line pressure like the HD2, and further raise it electronically.
I guess it could be done, if you want it soft one day and firm the next. It might not be good for it in the long run.
Most transmissions that are built correctly shift more firm as throttle is increased.
