Unhappy NO gears please help!!!

About an hour ago, was getting on the freeway, car downshifted, like normal, time for the up shift and nothing was like it was thrown in neutral, no reverse or drive gears, just park, had to have it towed home. Its to dark out now but tomorrow im going to take off the pan and check to make sure the connections are ok, what should I do or look for? driveshaft deis not spenn while in gear and through the inspection hole on the bellhousing the flrxplate looks good.

With a no movement condition a pump or a broken internal hard part is the cause here. Before pulling the pan I would verify that the pump is working by pulling a cooler line loose. If fluid pumps out then the pump is probably OK. You can pull the pan but you will not be able to repair the trans without removing it from the vehicle. I would probably start thinking about a replacement. Feel free to give us a call. Vince

if it is a pump do I still have to remove the trans?

Turn the Car on and see if it moves.. that is one of the nice things about these Electronic Transmissions.. you can reset it and atleast get it somewhere if you are close.

When mine lost third I did that and drove it the 5 miles to the Shop.
