Default Repair trans fluid cooler line at trans fitting?

It looks like I managed to damage the return line from my tranny cooler.
Right up where the hard line meets the trans.
I've tried tightening the fitting, but it still spews fluid all over my header.

Is there any way to fix this without dropping the tranny?
I can barely get a 13mm box end around the fitting as it is.
If I removed it, I doubt I could get one back in there.

It seems like the logical way to fix it is to replace that section of line.

Ok, so I fixed it the next day following a little advice from my mechanic.

Hit the local parts store and pick up a 12" or 24" section of 5/16" flared hard line. (comes with fittings)
Longer length makes the unused part more useful to you later when someone else needs it LOL
Also pick up a 5/16" compression fitting.

You cut the hard line just past the bend, use a pipe cutter or a hacksaw; as long as you get a smooth and strait cut.
That gives you enough play in the line to get a 13mm (or 1/2" if you can fit it) wrench up there
to back the fitting out far enough to get the rest with your fingers.

Bend the new line to match the one you removed. (having a bending tool is nice, but not required).
Install the reverse of removal. Finger-tight, then finish with 1/2" box end.
Trim line to fit.
Connect the old line to the new using the compression fitting using box-end wrenches.

Test and check for leaks.
