ls1 converter in a 700r4
i want to put a 700r4 behind a carbed ls1 i'm building for my thirdgen. i know there are people who have done the 700r4 behind the ls1 before, but i don't know what converter they're running. i have a VIG3200 at my disposal, and it's for an ls1/4l60e...will it work in the 700r4? if not, what is the solution?

You can get the spacers at summit, and other places.
I say read the sticky thread because I'm not sure if all LS flexplates work.
Frank might know off the top of his head but in the mean time you might find an answer quicker.

heres how i did it.
flexplate pn 12551367 and spacer pn 12563532 and bolts 12563533
bellhousing bolts pn 11512767 and converter bolts pn 1261968
all chevy parts
this will bolt up skiping one hole
you must have vss signal.
get the in line adapter made by speed scene wiring PN LS61325
you will need some mounting plates to mate up with your old motor mounts which are everywhere or make your own.
thats it.
