Default assembly lube.

I have looked at all the local autoparts stores, and none of them have trans assembly gel. But i did find there was a engine assembly lube that said it could be used on transmissions. should i try it or are there other options?

Thanks iam assembling my first Th400 so i want to do it right.

You can get by with using Vaseline if that is all you have. 400s are not particular and require very little to begin with.
