What exactly is a stall going to do for my car? Does the converter making any whining noise when its idling or when the car takes off?

And no, it doesn't make any whining noises.

The converter should not whine at all. If it is there is a problem. The 3600 I mentioned will drive virtualy stock under light throttle but when you nail it hang on. Look at this thread about what our custmers say. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...onverters.html
