Default what physically makes shifts faster

just like it says, what physically about a transmission makes it shift faster. i.e. whether it drags from 1st to 2nd gear(ahem..see stock 4l60) or shifts like a racetrack only car....im a newb to this stuff so please take it easy on me if this is a dumb question

The shifts are made quicker "faster" By increase the rate of flow volume to the clutch apply servo either by enlaging feeds, increasing presure or reducing accumulation or some combination of those.
