what physically makes shifts faster just like it says, what physically about a transmission makes it shift faster. i.e. whether it drags from 1st to 2nd gear(ahem..see stock 4l60) or shifts like a racetrack only car....im a newb to this stuff so please take it easy on me if this is a dumb question

cool, thats good to know, my initial thought was that maybe the more discs you put in the faster it shifts, but like i said im a newb to autos
