Trans break on a 4l60e?

Default Trans break on a 4l60e?

i know you probably cant, i have never seen a tbrake on one. but do they make a tbrake for the 4l60e and will a built trans hold up with a tbrake?

Rossler makes a t-break for 4l60e's and 4l80e's

Yes it can be done, As mentioned rossler has one for it. I however have not seen long term durability reports on them but then i have not heard of any failures with them either.
We have installed them on a few units though and so far so good.

+1 here. I think if you send your tranny to Rossler, they will do if for about 700 bucks. However, you will want a top of the line rebuild, as this puts an incredible amount of stress on the tranny, not to mention the rear and other drivetrain parts.

A member on here has been running a Rossler tranny / Brake since 06 without any problems. you might search it.

well i have one of your stage 2 units, would it hold up with a trans break or should i step up to the stage 3? i really want the drivability and overdrive cause i want it to be a street car, not a race car driven on the street. its not an everyday driver but sees the road quit a bit. the car will have full suspension other than a k-member and a strange s60 rearend.

We have installed it on both level 2 and 3 and have seen no issues the area the brake affects on the two levels is the same. So if would have the same results with either.
