Default B&M 70264, 70266, or other cooler comments?

I see a lot of guys are using this model cooler. I have a 98 c5 with soon to be 3:42s, a 2500 stall, and a good tune. What are your average temps with this unit especially if you have a stall. Was considering the 70266 which does not have the bypass feature but think it may be to large if I do some late season driving. I believe the 70264 is rated for 15,000 btu and the 70266 is rated for 20,500 btu. The only other mods I'm cosidering is a set of long tube headers. Was also wondering if you mounted it vertically or horozontal with the ports facing up? Looking for some good input!
..................Thanks

The B&M 24k super cooler is what works. It is kind of smaller than alot of others but cools the best. Just about everyone has one.

The 70264 is a tranny cooler kit with all the necessary components to install it on your vehicle.

The 70266 is an engine oil cooler with 1/2 NPT fittings, you will need to source your own lines, brackets, and adapters for the cooler to be used.
