Nice looking Flex-Plate. Nice price as well. What is the weight compared to a factory one?

Thanks Chris. They weigh 5.8 lbs. A great compliment to the 32.8 lb 9.5" converter. Introductory price only good for the first 50.

Wow, Mezerie was the only billet one for a while, but it retails for $450. That is an excellent price from an excellent manufacturer! What will be the retail on these things after the introductory pricing? I may opt for this instead of the mezerie unit.

I was looking at the meziere last night. Pretty pricey.

What are the rules on SFI flexplate... 9.99 and faster?

Default Retail Price

The retail price will be $289.95 after the first 50 are sold. We have had a huge response with the LS boards. The SFI qualifications are 10.99. When you are ready to order one just give me a call. 1-866-726-8358
Thanks,
Greg

I have a stock one here that weighs 5.03 lb. So the SFI aluminum version is not even 1 lb. heavier and much, much, stronger.

Default Rulebook

OK, I went home and dusted off the rulebook and this is what it says regarding SFI requirement. "Automatic transmission flexplate meeting SFI spec 29.1 and flexplate shield meeting SFI spec 30.1 mandatory on cars running 9.99 (*6.39) or quicker or any car exceeding 135 MPH. See General Regulations 2:12, 2:14." So it is 9.99 and I will pass this information on to the track official who I questioned and was told 10.99. Good thing we are all human and make mistakes. LOL
Thanks,
Phaedra

meziere claims theirs is 6.95 pounds if i remember correctly. when i put this one on my car i weighed it on a crappy scale and it came out between 6.75 and 7 pounds. the stock one off of my 2000 camaro came out to being between 5.75 and 6 pounds. i know this isn't exact science since my scale was not really precise but these two flexplates showed a 1 pound difference. i thought i would add this just for comparison. that is a nice looking flexplate you have their...
