Default Well i thought i had this figured out.

New LS7 motor .....655hp @ 6,700rpm
Stock gm ls2 or ls3 flexplate.......not sure will get pic if needed.
gm spacer from the newer trucks
Neil Chance convertor for my th350 trans

Well i just held the convertor up to the stock gm ls flexplate and the 3 holes line up but i would need the make them ablong or ovel in order to get the bolt though. Is this ok to do ?
Also if i`m moveing the flexplate away from the motor from useing the spacer will the starter still work right ?
Should i buy a aftermarket flexplate ? Which one ?

For that power level I would suggest an SFI flex-plate. FTI just introduced an really nice aluminum piece. Shoot them a PM. IIRC, it has all 3 bolt patterns on it.
