Default Broke Transmission Converter still good?

Hey guys I actually broke my transmission in my 02 ws6 about 1 1/2 ago. The car would hardly shift then would finally shift so I brought it to a peformance shop and they rebuilt the whole thing with aftermarket performanc clutches shift kit, servos but since I blew it up using my vig. 3200 and had them put back the stock converter. I now have a transmission temp. gauge and am thinking about putting the converter back in I don't remember if they said that there was any damage to the converter but since I have it I don't think there was (I would've junked it).

My question to you all is that would you think/ is it possible for a converter to go when the transmission goes. Just so you all know I've had a transmission cooler for a long time 2nd mod done to car. Or should I just buy a new one?

You dont need a new one but you do need to have that one cut and cleaned would be much cheaper and just as good as buying a new one.

they mean send it back to the company who made it so they can cut it open and inspect it/clean it out and then weld it back together. its alot cheaper than buying a new one and just as good as a new one
