Tranny or Tune? Lame 4L60E inside!
Either way i'm upgrading to a TH400 in the near future or possibly M6, but I wanted to see what this sounded like to anyone. Transmission never gave me any issues until we adjusted shift pressure in the tune. Car shifts completely fine through R-N-D, 2-3, 3-4. Only issue with it is 1st-2nd, just doesn't do it under normal driving. If i ease into WOT, shift into 2nd no problem, if i ease of the throttle at a decent RPM itll go right into 2nd. On the highway if you manually put it into 2, sounds like its in neutral and when you WOT it won't shift into 2nd. That makes me feel the tranny is done for but why would it do it under normal driving conditions if you fiddle with it? thanks!

I also forgot to mention, there is an inline tranny temp sensor into a brass t fitting with rubber lines into a trans cooler mounted up front, could this cause any issues? Also normal running temp of a 4L60E..ive searched but I get a vast amount of answers there..thanks!

Sounds like there may indeed be some issue with the 2-4 band or the accum.
Bear in mind also if you go 400 you will loose lockup and 4th 30% more gas ussage and engine wear and if you go m6 you will be slower and have to buy expensive clutch sets, a good one costing 1000 dollars or more. We actually get alotta guys switching back after either swap.
