i have a 98 camaro with 4l60e trans. it has a fuddle 3500 stall and was programed by hptuners. the problem im haveing is lock up. it will lock up when its supposed to but after about 10 min or so it will disengage lock up and never lock up again until you turn the car off and back on. any ideas?

Most common cause of that is the PCM is falsley detecting engine missfire.
A llittle tuning should fix that up. Raise the misfire tables.

ok. umm. how? i dont own any tunning software. heres the thing. i dont drive the car much outside town and plan a new motor and trans this winter. should i even mess with it? what happens if i do nothing?
