Circle-D 4C goes 1.59 60'
First time out I went 12.6@111 MPH with a 1.88 60' which was a .3 reduction but the track sucked. Well tonight it was hooking and I went 12.1@112 MPH with a 1.59 60' on DR's. I think on a perfect launch I could have cut a 1.50 and got my 11 but the track went away. This is a bolt-on car 3800 lb. race weight. I am extremely happy and wanted to say thanks

Hell Yeah!! I have the 5C and my best 60 so far is 1.43. I got some more tweaking to do and im hoping to see some 1.3XX. Are you flashing the stall or foot braking it when you launch? I can see you getting low 1.5Xs no problem and hopefully that 1.4X will follow.

Yup still on stock heads and yes the converter has lockup. As for raceweight im not totally for sure. Last time i weighed it it was 3350 with me in it. Since then ive taken some more out of it. My goal is to get it down to 3000 with me in it.

I love it. Its lighter and it bolted right in with no problems. Mines narrowed 3 inches on each side and has the strange brakes. I know the 9 inch rearends are strong too, but most of my friends have 12 bolts and havent had any problems with them. Either way, you cant go wrong with a 12 bolt or 9 inch.

The 4C actually brake stalls to about 2400-2600 depending on your engine/weight set up. It should flash to 3600-3800 rpm, again depending what your engine HP/TQ and vehicle weight is and what the builder spec'd the TC out for.
It is a good comfortable daily driver converter and obviously performs very well at the track. I almost stepped up to the 5C in our mid 11 second SS, but I know the 5C hits real hard and we are still on a 120,000 mile 10 bolt rearend.lol. I'm not ready for that one just yet.
Excellent report and results man!
