Default wanting to put in a stall but worried about miles...

i have 100k miles now. the transmission seems to still shift good. a while back when i had the tranny fluid changed there was about a month period where is was slipping and such because of the fluid levels not being right. but all is well since then. so im wondering if like a 3000-3200 stall would be safe/ok? or would yall recommend against it being at this many miles already?

That is a lot of miles on a 4L60. It would be a risky gamble. You never know, might get 200K on the stock trans, not likely though. One option is to put a stall in, add a big cooler to keep the temps down and start saving for a built transmission. Then when it happens you can just send the converter back to me for your free cut and clean. Of course this is assuming you installed a Circle D converter -
