Does anyone know if this actually works. I was told replacing the valve body could fix the 1870. I was going to do that and I'm actually in the process of removing the valve body, but then I stumbled upon this kit from transgo.

Has anyone ever used it?

It says at the bottom to get the HD-2 however:

"For Performance and Heavy Duty vehicles we recommend the 4L60E-HD2 reprogramming kit"

Which kit do I need?

That kit will fix the issue if the cause is the VB and if theres no additional damage
However I would not get both since the HD2 addresses this also .
