I'm in the process of install a circle D 3200 11" stall and wanted to know if I need a tune? Also is there a break in period for the stall and if so how many miles?
Thanks J

You might want to get a tune for the transmission. Go ahead and get Torque Management tuned out and see if your tuner can change your shift points for you. There shouldnt be any problem slamming it after the first time you get it tuned.

you will definitely need a tune. when i had my vig 3200 stall put in, i had a code come on. i believe it was P0751 i think it was. something bout the shift solenoide being stuck or something. u need that code and i believe its P0757 deleted.

Sorry, must have missed your question. The 3200 might benefit from a tune to get the driving characteristics the way you like them, but probably won't require it like a higher stall would. No break in, just make sure the install is correctly done and verify proper fluid levels, then go racing.
