Default truck deep pan for 4L60E part # need

I just wonder if any one know truck deep pan with drain plug part # for my 97 camaro z28. I search and most people came up with ( 2002 Silverado ), it mean 02 silverado have 4L60E tranny too ? and I have to get filter for 02 silverado for my camaro ? thanks

I dont know a part number for the pan but thats correct on the filter and yes the trucks do have the 60e

thanks you, btw i alway want to ask you a question for quiet some time. First my name is Ken Nguyen, and im from MS. I know soon or later my tranny will fail, and I alway drive the car normal, change fluid on time, and race here and their, but not every weekent or every day thing, some time I want get on it, I wont do much mod to my car, because I want to keep it as long as possible, what is your recomment on tranny and converter for me. will it last 100k + miles if im take care of it ? thanks

I would go level 2 and about a 2800-3000 stall .

The pan with a drain plug has been discontinued for quite some time. There is still a deep pan available just no plug. If you need the # for that pan I can get it for you. Vince

I couldn't find the P/N for my pan, just know it
was a 2002 Silverado and years much before or
much after do not have the drain plug.

I think I got mine off eBay. That, and maybe sites
like PerformanceTrucks.net are good hunting.

I have an 03 silverado. I bought the B&M 70260 Deep Aluminum Transmission Pan GM 4L60E. Adds 3 qts.
