Default TH350C - Do I need to connect the electronic connector?

Hi,

my old TH350 (no electrical connector) in my Impala 1970 is out of order. Therefore I bought a used one, which seems to be a TH350 c.
On the drive side it has a something out of plastic which looks like I could connect one or may be two cables. Is it a TH 350 C?
Is there an other way to find it out? Casting number,e. g.?
How can I find out weather the tc is a locked up or not?

If it is a TH350c. Do I need to plug in the electrical connection that locks up the converter? Does it harm, or o I just have worse mileage?

Regards
James

With the 350c no you just would not have lockup. But then you really have no way to control it anyway.
