Default TH400 for my LT1

Looking to put a TH400 on my LT1 T/A. I don't know **** about autos but do I have to look for any specific TH400 that will fit, or will any do. Also Any markings on casing to tell it a TH400?

What stall is recommended to start off with on a turbo car. Looking to get a (numerically) low gear 3.05

Thanks in Advance

Yes, just need the right flexplate and converter. Also need an adapted M6 crossmember or BMR/UMI crossmember. Might have to lengthen or shorten the driveshaft also. Custom B&M or Hurst shifter and trans cooler. Although the 4L80e wouldnt hurt to have overdrive...
