Default where can i buy a reman trans pump for 98z28

don't know much about them. i believe it's a 10 vane pump? some of the ones i've looked at say they fit 98&up but then i look at another and it says 99&up w/LS1? i assume they are all remanufactured in the same place so i'm looking for one cheap. please correct me if i'm wrong on anything.

Make sure that you get one for a ls1. I have seen many guys get the wrong pump because of the change over in the transmission years. Basically the fbodies changed in 98. However some trucks with a v8 in the 99 model year could still use the earlier style depending on which motor was in the vehicle. The earlier pump uses a 298 millimeter stator. Make sure when you order a pump specify that you need a 13 vane pump with a 300 millimeter stator. Vince

I have used Transtar for all my tranny rebuld and hard parts. Great service and fast shipping. Very knowledgable staff too.

You might want to throw a Shift kit in it while you have it out? I have the transgo. They make a good quality kit and the instructions are very well done. I wish the guy that did their instructions would do the one to set my clock on my DVD player, LOL
