Default Loud screeching

Well i finished putting the motor and trans back in and today was my first test drive. Everything was installed right but when i first start the car its normal, about 10 mins of driving i have a loud metal to metal to metal sound in either the converter or trans... The sound is like what ac pump sounds like with no out or a pully going bad and is extremely loud.

The sound will keep the same pitch but will quiet down at idle sometimes ... i was thinking maybe the converter was shot so i may toss my yank back in to see if the problem goes away but i just wonder if the pump could possibly make that noise?

Any imput would be greatly appriciated

The pump could not make a noise like that I do not think.
I would also checl converter bolts and flex plate clearance

Its wierd man, i looked high and low yesterday, retorqued all converter bolts, made sure nothing was rubbing. I didn't think the pump would either, so ive been leaning toward the converter.... only question is what inside the converter could make that noise? Its first ive ever ran across, and it doesn't come in until it heats up to temp.....
