Default 4L60E max HP
What can these trannys take stock? We have a LS1 w/ 4L60E tranny in a 280z Weighs about 2800 and we want to supercharge it making about 475hp and 525 torque... Will the tranny hold up or is that beyond what it can take?

I cant say what it will do stock in that car, Built units however have lived well past that range in 3800 lb cars

I would say get at least a tranny cooler, B&m trans go shift kit and a converter.

My stock 4L60e held for about 2 months before it went out in my t/a. I have a built 4l60e in the mail from FLT.
