Default Multi-disc converter tune settings?

I just installed a Circle-D multi-disc converter, and at part-throttle, the lock-up hits HARD. What setting(s) in the tune can be adjusted to soften the hit during part-throttle but keep it 100% at WOT?

Thanks.

Sorry I can't help besides the bump to the top, but why the multi-disk? What's your set-up?

I wish someone would have an answer, it's ridiculous all the knowledge on here and not one person can figure out how to soften the engagement.

To answer your question, because it won't break.

I don't have an exact answer for you, I am learning some tuning info but not fast enough. I will ask a few tuners I know and get you some tables to modify.

Thanks Chris.

BTW, is the converter I sent to you usable? If so, can you zip it up and ship it back to me?

Not to hijack your thread, but what are the advantages to running a multi-disk converter?

It holds a ton of power, you can lock it at WOT, and Circle-D offers a three year warranty if you use this converter.

I don't soften the hit, I just wait until the rpms come close to each other (unlocked vs locked). It is usually somewhere around 50 mph.

Mine is usually 46-50mph depending on how light the throttle is. I've noticed that the more throttle I have, the lighter the hit is. Like it engages smoother.
