Default Just ordered my new trans/converter combo from Performabuilt

After scouring this website for over a week trying to find a new 4L65E and converter for my 2002 Firehawk, I finally settled on a Level 2 Performabuilt with their Pro Race Billet Converter (3800 stall).

Frank's help in selecting the combo was first rate, and I look forward to receiving it in a week or so.

The 2 year warrantee was a big plus in selecting Performabuilt. I will post times after I get it installed and the break in period.

I'm really looking forward to it!!

You wont be disappointed. I have a level 2, with a 4k stall(1.69str). Im still on the stock 10 bolt though.

Make sure you have a good cooler on that bad boy!

Just installed a Performabuil level 2 3000 stall in an 02 SS with no mods 50 miles on it so far. Myself and the owner of the car are very pleased so far.

Owner of this car insisted not upgrade the conv. to a higher stall but I talked him into the 3000 stall

Car owner after test drive: "It felt like the old trans. didn't even want to shift compared to the Performabuilt it's right there every shift, but still drives great cruising."

Another happy customer!

Nice choice! Performabuilt has always done right by me. Had 2 of their transmissions (level 1 and 3). no complaints at all.

+1
