Circle D = 10.

Why a 2800, what is your setup?

I cant give personal experience, but i know from doing a few searches that yank and circle d have gotten the best ratings. Put one of those in front of a performabuilt and your set

I'll be gettin myself that set up soon and i'm stoked

I'd go bigger, for about any combo you can still DD up to about 4000 and only lose a litttle MPG

Something around a 2800 - 3200 is what I would recommend for most Magnacharger setups. Give me a call and we can go over the specs on the car and I can recommend a converter.

My bet is FTI gets a 10 as well. We build a special converetr for boosted cars. They are different animals than an n/a or sprayed car. 3200 or even more depending on what gear ,tire and camshaft.

I have had excellent with converters from Hughes Performance. We put a 2800 stall in a customers blown LT1 Camaro and it worked flawless for many years (until the trans. blew up). I have used several of them over the years and have their 2500 stall in my 4L60E in my GMC truck and could not be happier!!! I would give it a ten for sure!!!
Give them a call, ask for Bill!!!

I've used Pro Torque and had awesome success, I have had stalls on the lower side due to 94-95 PCM's "Stall Wall" issues. But this was back in 2003/4 so stuff has since been fixed.
