What size stall should i get for my ta
Hello all I have a 1999 TA with a LS6 intake,P&P throttle body,SLP lid,Pacesetter LT headers, matching Y pipe (no cats) GMMG exhaust, msd wires and TR55 plugs, car runs strong but looking to put a good convertor in it. I hardly ever drive the car it goes to local shows/cruise nights etc. Plus I want to get to the track soon, so my question what is a good convertor? I was thinking of getting a yank 3600 stall but not sure, also what size should i get 9.5 in or bigger?
thanks
thanks

An SRLS series billet 9.5" 3600 makes a great daily driver converter. A 4000 will make the car 60 ft better and et better but you will sacrifice some driveability. If you are going to spray in the future then I would go with the 3800 as this converter was designed for this. pm or call and I can help.

5c in mine and I love it!! I just let TA1364 drive my car and he was surprised how well the driveability was for a converter that big...
People with other smaller converters tell me "man thats a huge stall"!! til they drive it and they cant believe how well it behaves...Seems like its a smaller converter, well thats until you nail it lol!! IT just pushes you back!! For me its the best of both worlds in this converter

If i knew for sure my car was going to stay N/A, i would have opted for a yank ss4000 or similar, but i am toying with the idea of boost or juice so i am sticking with the 3600.

You might be surprised how the nitrous will loosen up your Vig. 3200. Depends on what size shot and where it comes on at, but that's the fun part. Playing with the jetting and the "on" point for the nitrous.
