the long standing tried and true converters i have heard of are yanks and vigs. I personally went with an Edge converter.

For true performance I would recomend FTI. Give me a call or pm and I will spec one out for you and give you a quote.

Your gonna get about 100 different answers man cause your asking an opinionated question. That's like asking what is the best kind of running shoe, everyone is going to say I have had great luck with these and they are the best but have they tried every single convertor out there probably not. Just do some research and buy what you think would be best for YOU. From my knowledge you get what you pay for, anyone can agree or disagree with me thats the beauty of forums. Oh and for what its worth I have a TCI SSF3600 and love it.

What are the specs on the car? What are your goals? How much street vs. strip? Daily driver? We have numerous options and would be glad to help you select the perfect converter.

If this is for your 2001 Super **** Camaro and it is a mild bolt-on or even a cammed street/strip car, then I would vote for the Circle D 4C. It will change the entire feel and performance of the car. For the quality, performance, efficiency and price you just can't beat it.

We've tried many different brands and styles of converters and my favorite was the 4C because of it's street manners and how it pulled when you laid into it at any rpm.

I think they offer free shiping and one free restall to LS1Tech members. Ya can't beat that with a stick.

Good luck!
