Default 4l80e question

I just installed a 4l80e in my 02 ta. Using the stock flywheel. Now I get a bad vibration at idle and any speed. Any ideas would be great or if any one knows a fix for it or know what's wrong with it. Thanks

Did you replace the trans mount when you changed the flexplate?

guys dont make fun of me I have been pulling my hair out looking up things to find out what the hell would make this vibrate. I found the problem the rear trans mount was on backwards and needed to be modd. It hit the crossmember and once this was done it went away.

Good that you found it. I had a similar problem. Turned out my 1998 flexplate was bent and my OEM tranny mount had given up the ghost as well. Replaced the flexplate and put in a Polytrans mount. and NO more vibration.

Glad you got it solved. It is probably more common than you think, don't feel bad. Any problem is easy once you know the solution. LOL
