Corvette servo on a stock 4l60e ?

Talking Corvette servo on a stock 4l60e ?

Hey fellas i need help I want to get my stock tranny to shift a litter harder but only in a safe way so if I add a vette servo is it safe?
Will it hurt anything tranny bone stock.

If your car is and fbody v8 it already has the corvette servo

Hey Frank! I wanted to tell you i'll be buying one of your trannies but it will be by Christmas but i have a stocker right now from my uncles ws6 but i wanted it to shift a little harder than stock the other tranny i had ,Had a shift kit in it.

I have a 1999 ta ws6 which servo will help increase shift firmness billet or vette servo?

All high output "golden rooster" cars got it. Not just F-bodys. My 95 has it.

So what do they do to make the stock trannies shift harder?

There is a larger surface area for fluid pressure to apply against. More holding power. But it shifts "harder" from different springs in the accumulator.

Thanks bro Someone told me the servo makes it shift hard.

If you want firmer shifts, you need a shift kit. I recommend Transgo 4L60E-HD2.
