Default Do you see a problem with this?

I had to raise the th400 up 1 1/2 inches so the drive shaft would not hit the safety loop. I put larger washers to raise the transmission up. Do you see a problem with safety? Thanks.

my brother did this when he was putting his t56 in his 69 but only for mock up and didnt actually drive the car. they actually sell metal plates that a little rectangles that are used as spacers for transmission specifically for this issue. those would probably be a little safer than washers.
