Default transmission mount

So i snap like 4 to 5 of these a yr on my daily driver 94 z28. Is there any alternate products other than stock that wont cause vibrations or anything since im in this car everyday all day long basically.

Get an Energy Suspension Poly mount. I think you will have a hard time breaking it. But there will be added vibration at first. I put them in all the Camaros I've owned and never broke one. After a 3-6 weeks of driving 90% of the vibration was gone.

You break trans mounts that frequently on your stock Z28...?

There has to be something wrong somewhere... in what condition are your motor mounts...?

Stock and you are breaking mounts?

I am not a fan of stock engine mounts and a poly trans mount.

I have never noticed enough vibration to annoy me with poly mounts. That is what i would go with then you won't have to change it again.

My energy trans mount made my car vibrate so bad I thought my mirrors were going to fall off.

Go with a different tq arm setup trust me after snapping the tailshaft off of my $2800 trans i was so pissed. its not worth the risk!

the motor mounts are bad and need to be changed. I was trying to hold out on them until i rebuild the engine. I exaggerated a little i probably snap like 2 or 3 a yr depending on how hard i am on it

I have found a couple of things with these f-bodies. The diff is usually off center, (left or right. Mine was off to the pass side 5/8" from the factory). I bought a BMR ajustable Panhard Bar and that took care of alot of vibration. The other is Pinion Angle. Purchased their Ajustable Torque Arm and Pinion AngleTool from Power House Perf and no more vibration. TAKE THE TIME TO DO THE WORK!!!

Disclaimer-LOL
I am not saying purchase "these" suspension parts. There are lots of good companies that can cure the problem.

Good Luck.

GM sells a 1LE Transmount i have used and have had no problems. I have also installed poly mounts and had vibration. I have removed the stubs on the mount with a grinder and got rid of the second metal plate and has helped. also having an adjustable panhard rod will help. I have also ran into off center diffs.
