Default Older 4L60E run off LS1 Computer

How true is it that a LT1 4L60E can be run by a LS1 Computer? They will bolt up together right? Minus the Torque Converter....?

As long as it a 96 up there are no issues with control . Earlier units can also be adatped electronically.
Bolt up is direct but converter requires a sleeve in the rear of the crank .
