I have a yank ss4000 stall and performance built tranny with dual tranny coolers. My question is why does it get really hot next to the gas petal when im driving is that normal? Any info will help out

Being that the exhaust and trans are right there I would say it's normal. You could always try to wrap the exhaust and install a heat shield on the floor to help correct this. Vince Bielanski

Not sure if they all have them but it would be something that you would have to fabricate if you do not have one. This would be something that you would have to construct out of thin piece of tin or aluminum. Then space it off the floor boards a bit so air can be allowed to flow above and below it. You will definitely be fabricating this if you so choose to try to do it. Vince Bielanski
