Default Turbo 400 tranny lines

I have steel braided line to run to my tranny cooler, does anyone know what fittings i need to screw into the case. I took out the brass fittings for the hard line and had some 1/4 pipe to -6 fittings lying around and they start but dont thread in very far before the feel like they are getting tight. I didnt know if the case had a different thread than 1/4 pipe. thanks

this has been posted a bunch, but here goes-the threads are 1/4-18 STRAIGHT thread, not tapered-ATI Perf Products has them in 6 or 8 AN
some guys jam in the tapered ones, but why bugger the case when the propper stuff is out there
www.atiracing.com
ATI #925137 for the #6
" #925138 for the #8
these fittings go in where the brass ones came out
