I'll be going from a t56 to a th400 with just about all ofthe extras that you can think of and was wondering if $4300 seems like too much (6% tax and all fluids plus install included) the trans will hold every bit of 900hp and will have a trans brake, 2 step, trans cooler, vig spragless tq converter, hurst postol grip shifter, reverse manual valve body, and drive shaft. All parts are brand new, think it's worth it?

Well I got quoted from rossler a full th400 with ultrabell bellhousing, deep pan, trans brake and dipstick for $3300 plus shipping. This doesnt include the crossmember, shifter, 2 step, or install, ect.

Plus shipping and converter it would be around 5k for that but the trans will take up to 1500-1600hp and has a new drum that wont explode if unloaded.

So yours is pretty decent price installed.

installed for that price is fair. Are you driving this car on the street? if so then you can not run spragless. It will over heat. If this is a race car then make sure that they are building an 8" converter.
