Default Guys with TH400 RMVB w/Transbrake... What shifter and TQ arm is best???

I am getting my th400 RMVB w/ transbrake soon and was wonder what the best shifter is?

I was thinking either "Quarterstick" or "Cheetah"...... anyone have experience with these?????

Also I am gonna need an adjustable TQ arm... I have all other suspension mods and its all BMR.... What TQ would you guys suggest?????

Figure i could ask instead of accidentally buying something bad and wasting my money!

Thanks!

Blaine

B&M Pro Ratchet. You can use it either forward or reverse pattern. I have had one for over 20 years and still love it. sometimes it seems to simple, just ratchet it forwards and backwards to change gears. No stupid gates to fiddle with.

I just installed the TCI Outlaw it is a lot like the quarterstick and I like it a lot but I Have always like that style of shifter. I added the handle with the button for the transbrake.

im not crazy familiar with they types of shifters.... rachet shifters i can just slam it back and it will go one gear then slam it back again for 3rd right?

I would like to be able to slam it back without worrying about going for 1-3....

thanks for the help guys!

Are you sure this is a Quicksilver? I sure looks a lot like my Pro Ratchet. My wife has a Quicksilver in her 71 Camaro and it has a gate that you have to lift to get it out of park. It's a t-handle looking thing in the front of the shifter arm. Yours doesn't have that. A Quicksilver will ratchet once you get it out of park into drive.

It sure is man. You have to lift up the whole stick to get it from P to N.
