What parts to buy for a 4L60e w/200 shot? What's up guys? Newbie I guess. I'm about to swap a LS1 w/4L60e trans into a 2000ish Lexus GS300. I want to put a 200 shot in it also, full sleeper!!! The biggest concern is the trans. I want to build it once, maintain the fluid, etc. and it hold up to the nitrous. I have another issue, part throttle shifting. I can't have a hard shifting trans. WOT is one thing, but in town drivabilty is another. And the nitrous shot will be progressive. What do you guys recommend. I'll build the trans, I'm a 15+yr. tech.

depending on the weight of your lexus, you could try going with a 4l80.. http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4l60e.htm
check this place out. main things to keep it together is the harden input shafts,valve body, servo,good clutch packs and beep pan. its going to be tough to have a soft shift but able to hold power from the 60e. will it be manual valve body or electronic.
