Default What is a fair price for a 4l60e?

I did a search and came up with a lot of built trannys but not too many stock ones.

This guy is selling one for $600...what would be a fair price for a 4l60e tranny with about 50k miles on it in proper working condition?

Thanks in advance!

I've seen good working stock units sell for as low as 200 without the converter in my area. However, this is not the norm.

I got a very nicely built used one (high end rebuild, heavy duty parts, shift kit, etc) for $600 with about 10000 miles on it. I would say you are asking a bit much, maybe a firm $375 would get you more bites on it.
