Default TH350 help!!

Tonight I'm on the way home and I pull down in 2nd and hit one time, when I let off there is this terrible knocking noise coming from the back middle of the transmission. It sounds like someone is inside with a jack hammer. the higher the rpms, the faster and louder it gets. Im getting really tired of this crap as im on the 2nd one in 6 months.

It only happens in the higher gears..2nd and 3rd, does not do it in 1st.

trans is a mild build, RMVB, vig 4k converter.

any help will be greatly appreciated!

You busted the sprag. Never pull a th350 down into second and "Hit it", you will break the sprag just about every time if the tires get a decent hook. Guarantee a break if it wheel hops in second..

You need one of our aftermarket 34 element sprague drums to replace the factory roller clutch type sprage you have. Even with the hardened race they still fail. Our 34 element sprague drum is 395 and comes complete and ready to install. 1-866-726-8358

thanks,
Greg
