Default lokar stick correct?

i got one in my 80e and im about to put fluid in should i trust it? if not where do i need to read it at? whose got experience?

the fill line is just above the parting line with the pan/trans-i posted a pic a while back with a meas, maybe a search might turn it up-i have a new stick/tube in the garage laying around, i could try and shoot another pick and meas-ballpark, maybe 1/8" above the sealing surface on the trans, give you an idea if your close

where is that compared to the line on the lokar stick?

i tried to get a good meas with a stock tube-the stock tube has a rib on it, and seats down in a rubber seal, which sticks about 1/8" above the "boss" or tower that it fits into-i got a pretty close meas, which if you meas down from the top of the raised part or boss, minus the seal (its aprx 1" above the case) 2" just about puts you on the money
not sure what the Lokar looks like, prob has an o ring and a rib it stops on
hope i didnt make it sound confusing, just meas down 2" from the top of the raised area where the dipstick goes in, ck that against the fill mark on your dipstick
